The world of craft beer is our passion. It allows us to express our creativity and challenge ourselves in unique ways, by delivering a wide variety of styles and flavors to all the craft beer enthusiasts. What makes our brews so special is that they appeal to not only these enthusiasts, but to anyone looking for a cold pint to satisfy their palate.
It all starts with our Brewmasters, Scott and Mike. The mad scientists are back in the laboratory working hard to perfect each recipe to remain true to each style, yet add their own distinct characteristics and profiles. Our beers are brewed in a 15 Barrel system, custom built by Specific Mechanical.
From there, they will spend their time in one of our 30 Barrel fermentation tanks. Why are our fermentation tanks twice the capacity of our brewhouse? This gives us the flexibility to double-batch our beers, and ferment two batches of the same brew simultaneously. Once fermentation is complete, the beers will spend a day in our Brite tank to add carbonation, then it is off to one of our many serving tanks, waiting to be poured.
Finally, we ensure that all of our glasses are “Beer-Clean”, per Cicerone standards. We also have several rinsing stations which are utilized right before a beer is poured. Combining these cleaning methods along with our glassware being kept at room temperature, we deliver a consistently great, clean beer for consumption. You will find proof in our efforts by the lacing of your glass as your enjoy your beer.
Beer isn’t the only thing we’re passionate about! We have put together a very diverse menu for you to enjoy as well, as Executive Chef Brent hand picks local ingredients to utilize in our kitchen. We have brought more to the table then your traditional pub-gub. They have brought to the table more than your traditional pub-grub. You will find a wide range of hearty, unique dishes with both beer integration and pairing in mind.

THE IDEA FOR KICKSTAND BREWING COMPANY BEGAN IN THE SUMMER OF 2010 BY TWO FRIENDS IN THE HEART OF COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN. KICKSTAND FOUNDERS, BRENDAN ROGERS AND SCOTT EMERICK, HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ENERGETIC ABOUT THE CREATION AND PRODUCTION OF BOTH REGIONAL AND CRAFT BREWS. AFTER BREWING SEVERAL SMALL-SCALE BATCHES THEIR KITCHEN, THEY REALIZED THAT THEIR TRUE PASSION LIES IN THE CREATION AND ARTISTRY OF THE COMPLEX BREWING PROCESS.
Over the next few years, their knowledge and equipment continued to grow until they were soon set up with their own professional brew system and were brewing up three different eclectic, flavorful brews - Blonde Bombshell, Irish Breakfast and Hops, Skip and a Jump.
